Support
The Southern
Illinois
Collaborative Kitchen
When you support the Southern Illinois Collaborative Kitchen, you are supporting a community project that believes that we can meet local needs using local resources. Your donations contribute directly to Pay-What-You-Can Meal Banks and Distributions that allow anyone to eat regardless of ability to pay.
Our Pay-What-You-Can Meals are produced by locally owned restaurants and we prioritize working with restaurants that use locally sourced ingredients. That means that when you help fund these programs, you are also putting money back into the local economy by supporting the restaurant and growers who make these meals.
Become a Sustaining Donor
The only donations that count are the ones you get around to making. If you are passionate about food access and using local resources to meet local needs, set it and forget it with a recurring donation.
Sustaining Donors help support the Southern Illinois Collaborative Kitchen by helping to replenish Meal Banks, host on-site meal distributions and provide general operating funds to help us in our mission.
Visit a Pay-What-You-Can Meal Bank
If you love a restaurant participating in our Meal Bank program, you can donate directly to their Meal Bank when visiting their location. All donations received at a participating location go to fill up that Meal Bank first. Once a bank is filled up, additional funds go to help start new Meal Banks.
